Throughout my blog I'll be posting FLAVOR FAVES throughout my menus. These are just my go-to ingredients for flavor, smartpoint count, splurges, and whatnot. Keep your eye out for them and you'll have some quick help next time you head to the grocery store.
Here's a FLAVOR FAVE for quick guacamole found at Costco: GoodFoods Chunky Guacamole
Red onion, avocado, white onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice...Big bang taste in a little cup. Totally a great source of fat and only 3 smartpoints! Delicious with celery (who would have thought?), or other fresh veggies, and of course with FLAVOR FAVE: Tostitos Bite Size Rounds Tortilla Chips. You can have 24 of those babies for 4 smartpoints! Sometimes, my friends, quantity DOES matter!
So, keep your eyes peeled for the stuff I love, and hopefully you'll venture out and try something new!
Oh! Semi-jokingly but kind of not really...Just a heads up...My rule of thumb for trying new things: If you are trying a product for the first time, whether it's a protein bar, a protein powder, candy, pudding, jello, whatever...NEVER try Banana flavor first. I LOVE bananas..but..banana flavored things (other than banana pudding, which I feel is so delicious because it's accompanied with real bananas) just don't really taste great. So, if you are to be brave and try banana something...be ye fair warned and make sure to get ANOTHER flavor to try if the banana doesn't go so well. :)
Happy Eating!
